Carbon/Nomex Wind Tunnel Fairing
Ellis & Warren were commissioned to build a custom one off fairing for use in a wind tunnel currently under construction in Germany. From the original drawings supplied by the customer, a male tool was designed and built in MDF to help reduce costs. The component was constructed from carbon with a nomex core. The project was completed within schedule and to budget.
Atlantic 85 Console & Pods
Ellis & Warren were approached by the RNLI to build the Atlantic 85 Consoles. Working closely with the RNLI’s design team to produce a working prototype. Over the last seven years, upwards of seventy consoles have been built and commissioned to active service within the fleet.
Produced to replace the original ply transoms. Upgrades were built from glass and high density foam using a unique tray moulding system. The transom was produced in a single moulding process reducing cost per unit to the customer.
